Our Cyber Risk intern position provides you with accelerated opportunities to turn your ideas into action as you help our customers assess and improve their security and privacy posture. As a member of our Risk Advisory Services team, you will join some of the brightest and most diverse minds working in governance, risk and compliance today. 

In this entry level opportunity, you will use your verbal/written communication skills and business application proficiencies to assist with internal process improvement and/or the identification, design and implementation of information security and privacy solutions for our customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist Consultants with internal process improvement and/or onsite client engagements.
  • Assist in documenting risk assessments, gap assessments and internal audits, including the communication of findings and recommendations to clients in verbal and written format. 
  • Assist Consultants with developing documentation related to information security and privacy program implementations for clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, countermeasures, security tools and network technologies. 
  • Coordinate internal Cyber Risk meetings and take minutes where needed.
     

What you need to succeed:
Must-have:

Be in pursuit of a relevant college or university degree with the graduation date of December 2024 or April 2025

  • Desire to work in a constantly changing environment as part of a team of Information Security Advisors as well as independently.
  • Willingness to learn about performing risk assessments, compliance audits (e.g. ISO 27001, SSAE18 SOC1-3, CIS Controls, PCI, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)

Nice-to-have:

  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in high paced work environments.
  • Willingness to learn about and be involved in new information security, privacy and business related activities.
