Reporting to the Manager of Services Operations, the Services Operations Intern will support the recurring functions and tasks of the services operations team and the organization. This includes recognizing existing gaps in people, process, and tools, developing solutions, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Task and assist with the completion of various metrics and reports for various teams within the Services Ops
  • Coordinate and assist with the allocation of resource assignments
  • Analysis of various metrics, data, and information relevant to resource scheduling, utilization, project health, TASK & Vendor operations, etc.
  • Prepare decks and various meeting materials
  • Schedule, Attend meetings and document meeting minutes
  • Organize and maintain information repository for the Services Ops
  • Update the reference manual for the Services Ops with a focus on best practices
  • Assist with the creation, health, and maintenance of projects in SalesForce
  • Work with members of the PMO and Services Ops to assist with project related issues and requests
  • Assist with TASK and Vendor onboarding and offboarding
  • Various ad-hoc reporting and documents

 

Potential Projects:

  • Assisting with maintaining the day to day activities
  • Further Analysis of Opportunities vs. Skills requirements for a robust workforce planning forecast
  • Assisting with the implementation of the new training approvals/tracking process
  • Organize and maintain Services Operations information repository

What we are looking for:  

  • Currently enrolled students with a graduation date of December 2024 or April 2025 
  • Working towards a diploma or degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business, Human Resources) or comparable work experience 
  • Ability to communicate (orally and written) in a clear and concise manner 
  • Understanding of professional services, project management, and project financials is an asset 
  • Strong knowledge in MS Excel (including formulas, reporting, macros, etc.), MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • Experience with Salesforce/Financial Force is an asset
