The Modern Workspace Services M365 Architect is responsible for assisting CDW in developing its modern management and device lifecycle program for endpoint platforms such as Windows, Windows 365, MacOS, iOS, as well as Android. The selected candidate will require extensive expertise in the areas of secure enterprise architecture design, as well as a proven track record of hands-on implementations and management of device management solutions such as MS MECM and MS Intune. As part of developing a modern device management service and automated workflows, this role will focus on integrating endpoint management technologies into core service platforms such as Service Now.  Modern Device Management is a core strategic pillar as part of our Modern Workspace Practice capabilities, and this role will report directly to the Manager of Modern Workspace Services.

This position will continuously interact closely with additional key areas such as, Security, Professional Services (Project/Consulting), Service Design, as well as Service Delivery Management to aid in effective and competitive service solutioning.

Responsibilities:

-         Windows/Android/Mac/iOS Lifecycle planning, and roadmap development based on industry trending and developments.

-         Development of Device as a Service program and device analytics capabilities.

-         Continuous platform research/roadmap development of core MDM management platforms such as Intune etc., as well as emerging platforms.

-         Support of established key vendor relationship, as well as platform specific development updates to be presented in established cadence forum (Modern Workspace Governance).

-         Cross-collaboration and technical mentorship to support-groups such as Remote Support/Management/Security as they relate to ongoing development and client opportunities/projects.

-         Provide management assistance/design guidance as required for Windows/Android/Mac/iOS platforms employed by CDW clients according to industry advancements and best practices.

-         Ongoing maintenance of existing and development of new self-service and automation capabilities within the endpoint technology stack

-         Pre-sales and RFP support where required for existing and new client opportunities.

Qualification Requirements

-         Ability to assess, summarize and architect complex IT business solutions entailing multiple technologies

-         Windows 10/11 imaging and packaging technologies

-         Apple Mac/iOS software and hardware level expertise

-         Expert level knowledge of MS Intune/MS MECM/JAMF Pro

-         Knowledge of additional MDM platforms such as AirWatch etc. an asset

-         Minimum of 7 years of IT experience with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Windows/Mac/iOS/Android administrator

-         Strong core infrastructure/AD/Networking/Security knowledge

-         Effective communication and listening skills (written and verbal)

-         Bi-lingual an asset but not required

-         Attention to detail and quality while maintaining a high degree of productivity

-         Work effectively within a fast-paced, complex environment with a demanding work schedule

-         Strong organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.

-         Effective at managing multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meeting deadlines and working well under pressure, along with proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
