This is an exceptional opportunity to join some of the brightest, best and most diverse product and brand management minds working in the IT industry today by leading a team of 10 to 15 Product Managers and Partner Specialists. You’ll lead a team of visionaries and lifelong learners that can take their passion for technology innovation and turn it into powerful go to market strategies for CDW by leveraging market/industry data to drive revenue growth and profit through strategic planning and marketing.
As Manager, Product and Partner Management, you’ll take a high-profile, leading partner management role for our internal salesforce. Your experience in building and managing high-performance teams will help accelerate our growing business further. It’ll be your responsibility to develop new and maintain existing partner relationships, plan go-to-market strategies and lead your team of Product Managers and Partner Specialists to execute.
What you’ll do
Guide, assist and augment development of vendor business plans while identifying, communicating and acting on marketplace trends in pursuit of revenue growth
Lead team to drive sales revenue and provide business revenue forecasts to senior management team along with plans to grow assigned business
Mentoring and coaching a team of 10-15 coworkers on the execution of partner endpoint go-to-market strategies
Work closely with marketing team on execution of marketing activities
Be the vendor contact for escalated issues and opportunities
Interact regularly and cooperatively at all levels within sales, marketing, purchasing and finance to ensure that everyone is pulling together to achieve agreed-upon business goals
What you need to succeed
Must-have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of product and vendor/partner management experience
3+ years leading a team of product and/or brand marketing professionals within a business-to-business sales organization
Ability to communicate to effectively and in a constructive manner with customers, coworkers, management and executives
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities/projects, meet deadlines, facilitate change and delegate responsibilities
Proven analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with demonstrated negotiation skills and influencing positive outcomes
Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and passion for customer experience, operational excellence and continuous development
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Nice-to-have
10+ years’ experience in product management with emphasis on Partner Enablement for high tech organizations
5+ years of product and vendor/partner management experience within the Canadian IT industry for a manufacturer or channel partner (value-added reseller, distributor, system integrator)
